                 Rose's Pedigree Fancy's Pedigree April's Pedigree

Our mares are really a blessing to own  !

Each descend from extremely different bloodlines, allowing us the opportunity to see a difference in conformation,  color patterning, and size.  Their dispositions are similar, and this could be they are  Colorado Rangerbred-eligible.

Please take a few moments to check them out!  And, don't miss our first foal, "TAC"!

Just Send Roses, ApHC # 497772

"Rosie" is a 1991 registered Appaloosa mare, black and white w/ spots over loins and hips.  A daughter of World Champion and Bronze Medallion sire, Mr Mystique, Rose has that distinct The Executive head, a huge hip, and a sweet heart. Her bloodlines are some of the most sought after at this time, including Ha Dar Honey (grandsire) and The Executive (grandsire).  Check out her pedigree for more details.

She traveled to us from River Run Appaloosa Ranch in Clark, Wyoming.  She stands 15 hh. Her disposition is tremendous, and she is an excellent trail horse.  She even traveled to the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, CA, being handled and ridden by children.

She is a fantastic youth horse, and our nieces (15, 10) and our son (6) ride her.

August 2008

"TAC" is a 2008, gorgeous black stud colt.  He is developing white hairs on his rump and appears to have sclera.  I believe he will color up in time!

He has excellent conformation and a sweet disposition.

He is handled daily, and really has a want-to-be with you personality. He get this honest from both his sire, Tuff Built Legacy, and his dam, Just Send Roses!

"TAC" will be weaned the end of August 2008!

SMM Shock N Awe, ApHC #621432

77% FPD

"Fancy" is just that and more!  She is a 2003 dark bay/brown snowcap mare, approximately 15.3 hh and still growing.  We purchased her from Still Seeing Spots Appaloosas in Illinois.  Her potentially homozygous, snowcap coloring, athletic movement, and disposition are critical factors in her guaranteed future production success.

Her sire, Straws Mighty Magnum, has an amazing show record, including ApHC bronze and silver medallions, 4 ROM's, ACAAP awards, and NBHA awards.  His versatility has certainly been passed onto this mare.

Her  training included foundation work being completed by Roger and Karla Johnson, the 2002 Appaloosa Trainers of the Year.

She  spent 30 additional days with a local trainer in March 2008.  We have trail ridden her multiple times, alone and in a group.  She loads very well, cross ties, stands quietly for the farrier, and loves carrots!  She is current on her vaccinations and wormings!

She has show exposure, as she attended the Keystone Appaloosa Classic in May, but we missed our class due to young children tantrums! UGH!

She is also Colorado Rangerbred eligible!

Check out Fancy's family!

HHR April Foxtail

ApHC #N 605937, CRHA #184-O, ICAA F3NC-2258,
Sundance #1307D

97% FPD

"April" is our newest addition to our herd.  She is a 1999 multiple registered mare.  We purchased her July, 2007 from Horizon Hill Ranch in Corry, Pennsylvania.

She is extraordinarily beautiful, willing, and athletic.  She is an exquisite, black non-characteristic mare , but by pedigree she most definitely is keeping the spots hidden for her babies.  She had one near leopard filly a few years ago. She stands 14.2 hh.

She has experience working cows, and her sire, Foxtails Sundance, has multiple ACAAP, ICAA, and CRHA awards in team-penning. She is grand-daughter of Shyloc's Cody, from Frank Scripter's leopard program, along with Money Creek Rockledge lines.

Check out April's family and her only foal!
